**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
- Educate skaters on proper techniques, circuit's, strategies, and safety protocols on the ice.
- Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring that all participants are engaged and progressing in their skills.
- Monitor the performance of athletes during practices providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for skating among all participants.
- Organize and oversee skating sessions, including warm-ups, events, and post-event evaluations.
- Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety rules and guidelines at all times.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaches regarding progress and expectations.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a skating coach or instructor is preferred.
- *MUST know how to draw skating circuits on the ice using bingo dabbers.
- Strong knowledge of skating techniques, strategies, and competitive practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate effectively.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to reach their full potential.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
- Must be able to work weekend hours from 10:00 am to 10:30 am

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Licence/Certification:
