**Oneida Long Term Care Home is a 64 bed Long Term Care Home located in Southwold, ON 15 minutes south of London.**

**Position Description**

**Under the direction of the Administrator, and in accordance with Long Term Care Home legislation, the successful applicant will provide hands on maintenance services, maintaining high standards of repair and cleanliness of the home, and staff management for Housekeeping and Laundry Departments.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintains the standard quality services in compliance with the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care Program Standards and the Home's policies and procedures.
- Practices and organizes preventative maintenance programs and documentation in the home.
- Ensures that all Fire and Safety inspections are carried out and oversees completion of all fire drills
- Applies Quality Improvement processes
- Readies rooms for admissions.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Must be computer literate
- Have a minor background in mechanical systems such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Patching/Painting skills
- Good working knowledge in dealing with contractors
- Experience in Management/Supervision an asset
- Experience in Long Term Care an asset

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
