**About the Role**:
247Gard Security Services is seeking an **experienced and assertive Undercover Loss Prevention Officer** for an assignment at **Canadian Tire in North Bay, ON**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct undercover surveillance on the sales floor to detect and deter theft.
- Identify and safely apprehend shoplifters in accordance with the law.
- Recover stolen merchandise and notify police when required.
- Issue trespass notices to repeat offenders in coordination with management.
- Maintain accurate and detailed incident and recovery reports.
- Communicate effectively with store management and 247Gard supervisors.
- Follow all company and client policies while maintaining discretion and professionalism.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid **Ontario Security Guard License** (mandatory)
- Minimum **1 year of loss prevention or retail security experience**:

- Strong understanding of **use of force** and **citizen’s arrest laws**:

- Excellent observational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to act quickly and calmly under pressure
- Professional and discreet demeanor (non-uniform role)
- Must be available to work rotating shifts as per assignment schedule
