Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Applications, in this role you will design and implement integration solutions between Salesforce and other business systems, provide technical support, and collaborate with varied teams to ensure success. This role can be based out of any Make-A-Wish Canada office and is a full-time, 18-month contract, hybrid position. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Design and develop system and data integration solutions between Salesforce and other business systems. - Implement and maintain integration protocol processes using tools such as APIs, middleware, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions. - Ensure data consistency and integrity across integrated systems. - Provide technical support for integration-related issues. - Perform system integration testing and interface functionality testing to ensure smooth operations. Troubleshoot and resolve integration problems promptly. - Monitor integration performance and optimize as needed. - Keep the integration architecture up to date and manage detailed documentation for integration processes and solutions. - Collaborate with IT teams to ensure software compatibility and seamless functionality. - Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff on integration-related topics. - Stay updated with the latest integration technologies and best practices. - Identify opportunities for improving integration processes and implement enhancements. - Participate in system upgrades and migrations as needed. - Other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU BRING - Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. - 3+ years of experience in systems and data integration, with a focus on integrating with Salesforce. - Expert knowledge of integration tools and technologies (e.g., APIs, middleware, ETL, web hooks). - Experience with Salesforce integration tools (e.g., Salesforce Connect, Omatic Cloud, MuleSoft). - Experience using Salesforce development tools, including Flow and APEX, to support and enhance integration processes. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. - Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer, Salesforce Developer) are an asset. - A clear Criminal Background Check will be required. YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT - Hybrid schedule (2 days in-office, 3 days remote weekly) with occasional requirements to work outside of regular office hours. - Occasional day/overnight travel. Physical/Mental Effort - Work under pressure of deadlines, with a high-volume workload, and with multiple demands and changing priorities.
