**About This Opportunity**:
Novas Medical Clinic is seeking a Family Physician to join its professionally managed clinic. This centrally located practice is located in Spryfield and is a short commute to central Halifax. This clinic is professionally managed, fully supported by friendly administrative staff and is comprised of 5 Family Physicians. This opportunity may be full time or part time. The compensation structure for this position is fee-for-service and physicians practicing on a in a full-time role can expect to earn an annual income of approximately $265, 000+

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures; advise patients on health care, health promotion, and disease prevention
- Consultation and referral to other medical practitioners’
- Act as a patient’s advocate
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations and vaccinations
- Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases as per Nova Scotia Public Health requirements

**Qualifications**:
Eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)

Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)

Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
