**Description Overview**

Activate Games is known for creating Canada’s first full-scale interactive gaming facility. As a technology company experiencing significant growth rates throughout Canada, the Western Canada Operations Lead will be instrumental in the business setup and service optimization through leadership development and business execution. This strong people leader will collaborate with senior leaders and department leaders to achieve growth and customer excellence. The Western Canada Operations Lead has a significant focus on brand excellence and customer experiences across western Canada.

Reporting to the Director of Store Operations, this position is a full-time, permanent position based in Manitoba and will require regular travel to regional locations throughout the year.

**Summary of Duties and Responsibilities**

Customer and Store Operations
- Lead Western Canada's store operations and customer experience through continuous improvement exercises, regular audits and measurement of KPIs.
- Identify efficiencies to enhance the customer and operational experience for employees.
- Responsible to oversee consistency of store operations, including the maintenance of rooms, inventory of product in each location and consistency of brand experience.
- Model standards of excellence for new builds, collaborating with other departments throughout the build process to ensure successful store openings.
- Analyze customer experience and trends to focus and constantly improve the experience and work environment.
- Work with Store Leaders and marketing to grow our presence in the Western Canadian markets through social media, through community events and programming, where appropriate.

People Leadership
- Responsible to hire Store Leaders and oversee hiring process and approach for all facility roles, creating a talent pipeline for each new location.
- Model a team culture in each facility that is solution focused and consistently demonstrates a positive customer experience.
- Support Store leaders in their daily operations, including people leadership, policy implementation, onboarding and offboarding.
- Creating and presenting evaluations and development plans and goal setting for Western Canadian stores and Store Leaders.
- Responsible to coordinate and deliver as required: policy training, brand experience training and maintenance training for Western Canadian stores to support a learning culture.

**Qualifications and Attributes**
- Business Degree or Post secondary education with extensive industry-related experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience delivering positive business results in multi location scenario
- Ability to foster strong working relationships with various internal and external partners
- Demonstrated strengths in time management and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer literacy and skilled in Microsoft Office
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Flexible availability to support critical incidents day/evening/weekends
