How will you contribute?
The analyst provides front-line support to senators’ offices and the Senate Administration in the delivery and maintenance of the Senate Resource Management System, including incident and problem management, configuration, testing, security administration, training, and user account management. It is also responsible for creating system support and training documentation.

Additionally, the analyst gathers requirements, performs analyses and proposes solutions for system enhancements, increased functionality, and for the design of financial and human resource reporting that meets client needs.
Open to
The general public to staff 2 indeterminate (full-time) positions in the Finance and Procurement Directorate.

This selection process may be used to staff determinate or indeterminate positions at the same level with similar requirements.
Prerequisites
- Post-secondary education in a field related to the duties of the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience in working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system such as SAP, Oracle, Unit4 Business World, or other similar software.
- Experience with writing or maintaining systems or technical documentation.
- Experience onboarding users to new system functionality.
- Experience in the development of presentations, training materials, or user guides.
- Experience working in a client-service oriented domain
- Knowledge of human resources, finance, procurement, or asset management processes.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) models.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (advanced analysis techniques).
- Ability to identify, define and analyze problems or situations, and recommend solutions.
- Ability to analyze system changes and improvements and evaluate options including their impact on the system.
- Ability to prepare and conduct pre-implementation testing.
