The porter position is an integral part of our restaurants. They are a committed and communicative team player with excellent time management skills. They are able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.

Porters ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans and flatware, while also bussing table when called upon. They maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment. They may also restock items, unload deliveries, clean appliances, and empty trash receptacles.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

The primary responsibilities of the role include:

- Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and company guidelines.
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times. Exceed guest expectations at all times by providing the FAB 5 Service Training.
- Support other service staff when needed to ensure the highest level of customer service standards.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
- Fully understand and comply with all health and safety requirements of the restaurant.
- Arrive on time to your shift and be in correct uniform with all your tools.
- Opening/Closing/Side duties, as per your restaurant guidelines.
- Cross training in all service positions
- Provide suggestions to Manager as needed.
- Any other duties required of you by your manager or fellow associates to enhance the guest experience.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous industry experience required
- Valid Food Handler’s Certification preferred.
