CJ College is looking for an Early Childhood Instructor with strong communication and interpersonal skills to join our growing team

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist students through lectures, and computer-based training
- Deliver and lesson plans with assignments using a variety of teaching techniques
- Administer and grade quizzes and exams
- Perform administrative tasks including student records keeping, attendance, etc.
- Coordinate and arrange placements for students if required
- Adhere to principles, requirements and delivery of the program as per CJ College standards and the Ministry of Colleges and Universities

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of three (4) years current, relevant work experience within a Canadian institution
- **Required criteria as outlined in the Regulations to Private Career Colleges Act 2005**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a registered institution in Canada with a minimum of five (5) years current working experience as an Early Childhood Educator in Canada and current membership in the provincial association for Early Childhood Educators.
- The instructor must also meet the qualification standards as set by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities.
- It is recommended that the instructor have some formal training and/or experience in teaching adults in an education setting.
- Must be a member of AECEO

Note: Individuals who have received an ECE credential from a country outside of Canada MUST have their credentials translated into English and must be assessed by a regulatory body such as WES (World Education Service) as to the equivalency in Canada. Membership in the provincial association for Early Childhood Educators is required and work experience as an Early Childhood Educator remains the same as above.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in North York, ON
