- This position provides administrative support in material management to the Quality Control Department. The incumbent must be capable of multi-tasking to meet the departmental needs working with Department Manager on a regular basis.
- Receiving laboratory standards and ensures delivery correctness
- Serve as the primary owner of the Standards tracking and management system using electronic laboratory Information Systems (LIMS)
- Updating standard database in LIMS by adding new or removing expired / used up standards
- Responsible for removing expired standards from shelves to keep accurate inventory
- Performing standards inventory
- Informing clients about their upcoming expiring reference standards
- Liaise with the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and European Pharmacopeia (EP) organizations and such, on regular basis to ensure Reference Standards database is regularly updated.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of University Degree in Science.
- Minimum 1-year experience in a technical role would be an asset in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment
- Prior technical experience in a chemistry related role would be preferred.
- Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions / Standard Operating Procedures in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
- Must be highly organized and able to work effectively and efficiently in a demanding environment with frequently changing priorities.
