Scheduler

**Synergy Protection Group Inc. is seeking a full-time Scheduler to join our team in North York, ON.**

**JOB SUMMARY - What will you do?**

Under general supervision of and reporting to Operations Manager, the Scheduler will be responsible for managing day-to-day queries from the workforce regarding work schedules and building employee/client relationships in a proactive manner.

**Specific Duties**
- Maintain master schedules for all crosswalks in the assigned zone.
- Receive and record book on, off and check in calls from crossing guards.
- Ensures that all vacancies are created by absences of any sort are filled with the most competent and acceptable replacements.
- Ensure that reports are completed and escalated as required for issues related to absences, lates/leave earlies.
- Ensure the data is entered into Tracktik in a timely manner.
- Recommend disciplinary actions to the Operations Manager in respect of employees who are continually late or absence from shifts, who refuse work assignments, who fail to report to work without proper notice.
- Report any discrepancies to Service Delivery Manager and Operations Manager promptly.
- Receive client requests and schedule shifts for guards as necessary.
- Respond to staff and client inquiries regarding schedules.

**EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - What you will bring?**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate.
- Previous security experience is preferred.
- Previous scheduling experience is an asset.
- Must be self-starting and results oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build teamwork and strong business relationships.
- Demonstrated ability in preparing and maintaining clear, concise, and legible security reports and detailed records.
- Articulate, professional and able to communicate in clear, positive manner with clients and staff

**Salary**: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
