Massage Addict Red Deer Timberlands is looking to hire an Assistant Manager with strong leadership and management abilities, professional communication style, and a great personality with the desire and passion to contribute to the clinic’s success.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for all operations of their clinic, ensuring maximizing results through revenue driving efforts and effective recruiting, scheduling and retention of therapists and front desk staff and providing a strong clinic culture to meet the needs of the clients. This position is also required to facilitate operations training for any front desk staff and therapists new to the clinic. This position also requires reliability and the ability to be available to work full-time which includes days, evenings and weekend shifts.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Leadership**
- Create Clinic culture and maintain a highly motivated work environment by communicating regularly in a positive, motivating manner
- Ability to coach and build a high performing team
- Celebrate and recognize Clinic efforts and results
- Recruit, select and retain RMTs, Acupuncturists, Certified Reflexologists, and Front Reception staff
- Actively network with therapist population through Colleges, Associations and other events
- Involve entire team in Clinic event organization, encouraging initiative and ownership

**Training & Development**
- Develop future leaders through providing SMART development plans minimum once per year
- Measure and track client satisfaction and celebrate success
- Ensure proper maintenance of client files, maintain confidentiality
- Abide by all regulations, by college, association and the Insurance companies
- Ensure adequate staffing of the clinic. Maintaining a schedule that supports the business. This includes, having a balance of opening, closing and weekend shifts

**Operations** **& Reporting**
- Maintains clinic standards and executes guidelines in accordance with company policies
- Plan and follow up with cancellations and no-shows, Inactive and missed month clients by effectively executing phone work
- Ensure file management and goal setting processes are embraced
- Ability to be creative in building local store marketing (LSM) strategies and business development within the community
- Verify and complete time sheets and personal sales records
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly operating paperwork is accurately completed and reported
- Complete weekly inventories, identifying and controlling “shrinkage” issues

**REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- College or University Degree
- Minimum of two years sales and management experience
- Previous successful clinic-level management/ownership employment experience is preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills
- A proven ability to teach, coach, and direct team
- Understanding of Membership based business and or personal one on one service industries
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**CLINIC HOURS OF OPERATION**

Monday - Friday 9am - 9pm

Saturday - Sunday 9am - 5pm
