Pricing Analyst

As Pricing Analyst you will be responsible for the administration and governance of all aspects of negotiated pricing with the ultimate goal of ensuring price integrity. You will act hand-in-hand with the sales team to ensure that negotiated pricing is recorded into our ERP system and accurately reflected on customer invoices. Commodity pricing is dynamic and by ensuring pricing accuracy you will be a key member of the Sales Team. Another key aspect of your responsibility will be trade-spending management and reconciliation (rebates and deductions).

You will also have the opportunity to create advanced pricing analytical tools to compare pricing by customer/product/region to create accurate P&Ls.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO JOIN THE TEAM:

- 2-3 years experience in managing pricing and/or trade-spending
- Experience in CPG or FMCG
- Hold Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, finance, mathematics, or in a related field.
- Experience in generating actionable insights from data for leadership reviews
- Ability to accurately input data and see discrepancies
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, with excellent knowledge of Excel
- Experience with ERP pricing systems.
- Microsoft Navision/Dynamics experience is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information; Strong Problem-solving skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- **PROCESS**
- Govern the overall pricing process and proactively bring forth recommended improvements including technology solutions
- **DATA**
- Create and maintain customer pricing files and databases
- Input price changes into ERP
- Ensure accuracy for all existing pricing by customer/product
- Prepare price lists to be distributed to customers
- Create pricing templates and automation tools for price quotes
- **TRADE SPEND**
- Create and own the process to manage, track, and report on all trade spend activities
- **DISCREPANCIES**
- Investigate all price discrepancies/deductions and partner with accounts receivable, sales, customer service, and the customer directly in order to rectify in a timely manner
- Recommend payment or non-payment of any pricing claims raised due to a pricing dispute
- **ANALYTICS**
- Create advanced pricing analytic tools to compare pricing by customer/product/region to create accurate P&Ls

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Located in Etobicoke office (New Toronto).
- Hybrid Home/Office: 2-3 days in office.
- Occasional domestic travel may be required to participate in meetings and collaborate with manufacturing locations.
