Greenstone Gold Mines L.P. is a 60/40 joint venture partnership between Equinox Gold and Orion Mine Finance Group formed for the purpose of the joint ownership and development of the Greenstone Gold Property including the Greenstone Mine located on a historical mine site in the Geraldton-Beardmore Greenstone belt in Ontario. The Greenstone Mine is managed directly by a dynamic and experienced Owner’s team, with an estimated $1.5 Billion investment over the three-year construction and commissioning phase, and a 14-year operating life of mine.
Greenstone Gold Mines is seeking a Lodge Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Site Services and Camp Manager, the Lodge Coordinator is the primary liaison between the Lodge operator and GGM. The Lodge Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective execution of the Lodge contract including ensuring the smooth functioning of GGM-provided services at the Lodge. The Lodge Coordinator will work with the Site Services team in overseeing additional smaller site-wide site service contracts.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE**:
- Monitor the Lodge contract key performance indicators (KPIs) and required processes to support a guest experience that meets the requirements of the operation team, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop a strong working partnership with the contractor’s contract representatives, and the Lodge managers and their staff.
- Act as the GGM representative for all issues and concerns that may arise during the Lodge contract execution period.
- Oversee the effective working of GGM-provide services at the Lodge, including power, sewage, waste management and snow removal, liaising with the GGM Site Services team, or other related GGM departments as needed.
- Undertake the weekly and monthly reporting, compiling information from the various parties as needed.
- Provide contract oversight or support for other project site contracts that are the responsibility of the GGM Site Services team, such as waste management.
- Provide organizational support to the Site Services team for other aspects of their work as may be required from time to time.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Strong knowledge of contracts and contract execution.
- Familiar with facilities maintenance and mechanical operations such as generators, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems
- Excellent organizational, analytical and reporting skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data tools
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
- High school diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) or combination of education and pertinent work-related experience
- 3+ years experience managing or working in a Lodge setting.
- Mining project experience is considered an asset.
LOCATION
This position will be based in Greenstone, Ontario on a 7-7 rotation.
Greenstone Mine provides company transportation from multiple pick-up point locations.
