Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Solutions, the Business Systems Analyst will lead service requests through the various phases of the information systems life cycle; business requirements analysis, technical assessment, process re-design, implementation planning and ongoing support. This position is responsible for working with business departments, to use their analysis skills to define problems, develop alternatives, assess impacts and lead the delivery of the recommended solutions.

Status: Regular Full-time

Rate of Pay: $47.57 per hour - $59.45 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

**Qualifications**:

- Two (2) year college certificate in Computer Science or Software Development
- University degree preferred
- Three (3) to five (5) years' experience
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing business and systems process re-design
- Proficiency in eliciting and documenting detailed requirements from various stakeholders, including business units, administrators, and other ITS staff
- A basic understanding of software processes and technologies to effectively communicate with other technical teams, translate requirements into technical specifications
- An understanding of data privacy and security requirements and data management practices
- Strong communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- The ability to analyze complex workflows and identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
