**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate a 19’ Four Winns carrying up to 6 passengers
- Provide engaging commentary on historical facts, wildlife, and area highlights in 5 star fashion.
- Pick up Passengers at tour pick up locations.
- Sell commissionable “Go Now” tours at the dock during down times, and conduct those tours.
- Assist customers in preparing for tours and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Take photos and video where permission has been granted by passengers, and forward with highlights of the day to owner.
- Conduct pre-tour boat inspections and ensure all equipment is operational
- Pre-tour stocking of bottled water and potentially food items.
- Conduct post-tour Maintenance including fueling, flushing the engine, cleaning windows and surfaces of salt water, wiping down the vinyl where necessary, vacuuming the carpets, removal of garbage, and securing boat covers.

**Quantifications**:
The Employee must possess or obtain the following qualifications:

- **S.V.O.P.** (Small Vessel Operator Proficiency)
- **MED 3 or MED SDV-BS**:

- **VHF Radio License**:

- **Basic First Aid Certification**

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Boat Captain or in a similar maritime role is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is preferred to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Previous sales experience
- Previous Experience in the tourism industry an asset
- Strong communication skills

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
