Customer Service Specialist

**OPPORTUNITY**: The Sport & Social Club (SSC) is looking for a talented and motivated Customer Service Specialist to join our results-driven, fast-paced, and fun-loving team in the sports industry. This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, team-oriented environment and has experience in customer service, sales, promotions, and conflict management.

As a key member of our team, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of all 8 SSC cities by managing communication with current and prospective players. Your role is essential to ensuring our leagues run smoothly and that players have an exceptional experience every step of the way.

You’ll handle inbound and outbound inquiries, help grow the club’s presence through sales efforts, and act as the voice of the player. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires creative energy, initiative, and a genuine passion for building community through sport.

**RESPONSIBILITIES** (included but are not limited to):

- Retain and acquire new players through sales of leagues, classes and tournaments.
- Answer inquiries, respond to feedback and handle complaints.
- Assist with tournament execution and event preparation (some weekend work required).
- Other projects and duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree or Diploma in Business, Sports Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Must be bilingual (English/French).
- Ability to deliver superior customer service and always maintain a positive attitude and outlook.
- Passion for recreational sport and community building.
- Experience in sales and conflict management is essential.
- Technical aptitude in working with Microsoft Office Suite and website development tools.
- Strong interpersonal communication (oral and written), teamwork and organizational skills.
- Ability to initiate and follow through on assignments with high attention to detail.
- The ability to manage a number of tasks during peak periods.
- Knowledge and experience playing multiple sports.
- Ability to lift 35lbs (moving sports equipment).
- Valid driver’s license.

**EXPECTED HOURS**:

- Typical working hours are from 9:30pm-5:30pm
- During league launch and various times during the year working hours will include weeknights and weekends
- Flexible work schedule and able to work evenings or longer days as required

Pay: From $47,500.00 per year
