**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for drainage, waste and venting systems, fixtures and appliances
- Work with different types of piping such as black carbon or steel, plastic, glass or pyrex, copper
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Determine layout of systems and networks
- Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems
- Locate and mark position of pipe connections, holes and fixtures
- Cut holes to accommodate pipes and fittings
- Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes in place
- Join pipes with couplings, clamps, screws, bolts or cement
- Solder or braze piping
- Inspect and test pipes for leaks
- Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
- Instruct apprentices and helpers
- Participate in the COR Certification by ensuring all health and safety inspections and forms are submitted on time
- Completed College/CEGEP/Vocational or Technical training
- **Plumbing Journeyman License in good standing with sticker**:

- Certificates: Working at Heights, Gas License, Aerial work platforms, etc considered an asset
- Valid Ontario's Driver's License
- At least **two COVID vaccinations** - our projects are in healthcare settings
- Own basic hand tools and safety shoes
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience* in either Commercial, Institutional or Industrial markets
- Good command of the English language
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a team environment and also under mínimal supervision

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- ICI projects
- NOT RESIDENTIAL: 2 years (required)
- Plumbing Installations: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
