**Open Position**

Worldwide Security is currently seeking an Installer/Technician.

The Installer/Technician is primarily responsible for installation, service, trouble shooting and inspection of equipment for internal and external customers.

Our employees are empowered to provide customer service both internally and externally and in doing so, may be required to work outside their primary responsibilities to provide the best service.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Installation of security and other equipment including cable and conduit in accordance with Worldwide Security and ISO standards (CCTV, Access Control, emergency telephones, intrusion alarms and more.)
- Installation, termination, and testing of CAT6 UTP cabling
- Attend service calls, troubleshoot, and repair customer and company owned equipment.
- Complete work orders, timesheets, expense, and vehicle reports per company policy
- Assist in warehouse with shipping/receiving and clean-up when needed.
- Complete in-house maintenance to equipment and facility as required
- Liaise and provide support to other departments including sales, accounting, and human resources.
- Participate in weekly operations meetings when schedule allows
- Attend mandatory and job-specific training courses for safety certification
- Willingness to upgrade knowledge and skills and participate in company training and educational opportunities.
- Maintain approved company uniform and safety footwear
- Other duties and projects as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCIES**
- Basic networking and Windows experience
- Knowledge of audio/video
- Balance a physically demanding workload including standing, lifting, climbing, bending, crawling in confined spaces, and working in a variety of indoor/outdoor environments
- Relevant post-secondary certificate or degree
- A valid Ontario driver’s license and use of a vehicle
- Working at heights, scissor/boom lift and tow motor certificates required
- Own hand tools required. Power tools provided by Company

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:
