**3.0 JOB REQUIREMENTS**

3.1 _**Required Education**_

3.1.1 Successful completion of post-secondary institutional education certification in business administration.

3.1.2 Ability to write & speak other languages is an asset, preferably French.

3.2 _**Experience**_

3.2.1 Minimum of 2 years of business administration

3.2.2 Minimum of 2 years of experience in travel/tourism industry preferred.

3.3 _**Skill, Knowledge and Abilities**_

3.3.1 Advanced computer skills required. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PDF Creation etc.)

3.3.2 Advanced organizational ability and time management skills required.

3.3.3 Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and capable of doing several functions at once with deliberate speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision.

3.3.4 Effective communication skills - written and verbal

3.3.5 Ability to work independently and work well with others with the goal of providing exceptional service within NFT’s membership framework.

3.3.6 Maintain open lines of communication with the President & CEO and NFT staff.

3.4 _**Reasoning Ability**_

3.4.2 Above average diplomatic skills required for outside contacts and discussions.

3.4.3 Ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidential information a must.

3.4.4 Ability to exercise professionalism, diplomacy, and tact.

3.4.5 Ability to build harmonious working relationships.

3.5 _**Working Conditions**_

3.5.1 Requires standing, walking, mild to moderate lifting, and sitting sometimes for long periods of time. Work will be performed normally within eight to nine hours per day; and based on NFT initiatives may require occasional weekend scheduling. There is occasional casual overtime. Some days may contain early or late meetings beyond the scheduled work hours.

**Administrative**

4.2 Working in conjunction with staff, ensure office is properly stocked with office supplies and stationery.

**Special Projects**

4.3 Management of all mailings and shipping arrangements.

4.4 Special Events - to assist with the preparation and execution of NFT exclusive Events, including oversight of the Winter Festival of Lights volunteer programme.

**General**

4.5 Demonstrate a commitment and passion to maximizing Client and Member satisfaction by delivery of outstanding and personalized customer service.

4.6 Time management, prioritizing workload to facilitate and meet timelines, deadlines, etc.

4.7 To maintain a personal image of professionalism to Clients, Members, and fellow NFT Team Members.

4.8 Demonstrated ability to set high priorities, standards, and demonstrates urgency to achieving the critical goals and objectives of Niagara Falls Tourism.

4.9 Cultivate and maintain an extensive knowledge of all NFT functions, initiatives, and activities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
