Job title: Marketing & Sponsorship Intern(s) Summer

Reports to Director of Operations

Job Purpose: The Marketing Intern is an integral role in TAC. In this role, the Intern(s) will learn the core values of TAC, while demonstrating customer service skills put on by the community and representing TAC Sports as a premier sports company at all times. In this role, the marketing intern(s) will assist with existing marketing campaigns as well as come up with marketing ideas to improve marketing efforts at Toronto Athletic Camps Inc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administrative support daily
- Coaching 1-3 sports in our after-school programs
- Preparing marketing materials, maintaining the company’s website or building project databases
- Reporting on trends from competitors and other companies in the community
- Develop content for the newsletter, blog, social media, printed materials and other print materials, etc.
- Developing marketing campaigns and strategies for marketing events prior to their start: funfairs at schools in the community, November, Christmas and Summer camps
- Write event reports and then create checklists before and after goals
- Other duties as assigned

Administration:

- Identify opportunities for improvement in the marketing department and recommend any changes that seem suitable to increase brand awareness of TAC
- Problem-solve issues affecting the accomplishment of those objectives
- Developing weekly objectives and working with Directors to successfully achieve all objectives

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Currently enrolled in Post-secondary in either a degree or diploma in a related field
- Effective communication skills, computer skills, teamwork, personable, positive
- Standard First Aid and CPR (preferred)
- Working with children, coaching is considered an asset
- Other Certifications welcomes

Hours of operation at Toronto Athletic Camps:
**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op

**Salary**: $15.00 per day

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
