**Title**: Production Worker (seafood distribution to restaurants, hotels, and fish markets)

**Terms of Employment**: Permanent, Full-Time

**Anticipated Start Date**:As soon as possible

**Location**:135 Blake St. Toronto, ON M4J 3E2 (Danforth & Pape). Close proximity to location is preferred.

The Production Worker is responsible for helping with daily tasks in the warehouse, including filling and processing customer orders and bringing them to the production area or packing station. This position must meet company standards for safety, security, and productivity. Bonus pay is provided based on individual's performance and attitude.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Participate in a culture where Health & Safety is the #1 priority and complies with all regulatory and company safety requirements.
- Efficiently pick and manage outgoing seafood orders for processing and shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
- Repack, weigh, and oversee any orders that require such handling when necessary. Report quality variances.
- Assist in conducting physical inventory counts as required.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly facility.
- Follows company procedures to ensure the accurate, efficient and safe operation of all equipment (i.e. manual and electric pallet jacks). Comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the integrity of products by ensuring storage at appropriate temperatures and report any variances.
- Perform any other duties as required.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to take direction, learn quickly, communicate effectively, and work with a team.
- Ability to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly
- Ability to work morning shifts at 5:30 or 6:30 AM start time
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to health, work, and food safety in the workplace.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and team building qualities.
- Takes initiative, is proactive in their work, and results-oriented.
- Ability to operate forklift is preferred

**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
