The **Warehouse Associate **will mainly focus on packaging anodes and bagging coke breeze. You may also have to unload trucks, review orders for accuracy, and receive materials. You'll assist with inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording the amounts of materials/items received or distributed through a computer daily. This position also operates and maintains forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, contributes ideas to improve or optimize warehouse and/or order processing procedures, and organizes the warehouse and work area for orderliness.

**What You'll Do**:

- Create, modify or amend project material orders in JDE daily
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
- Package anodes and bag coke breeze
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the staging area
- Organize and maintain a non-inventory list of materials
- Assist in counting quarterly/annual physical inventory and perform weekly/monthly cycle counts
- Wear proper safety equipment and maintain safe/clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat (sweeping, dusting, mopping, etc.)
- Replenish inventory per reorder points through requisition and stock orders weekly

**What We Need from You**:

- High School Diploma
- Forklift certification preferred
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- Experience being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task required
- Preferred experience with JD Edwards (or other ERP system), Smartsheet (or other Project Management software), barcoding, and warehouse relocation
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Currently have or ability to obtain within 6 months: OSHA - Warehouse Safety and Hazardous Shipping Certification (DOT Title 49 CFR - ICAO/IATA - Lithium Batteries)
- Effective communication skills and the ability to manage tasks under tight timeframes
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and continuously sit, lift, stand, and/or bend throughout the day
