The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitize all common areas including the lobby area, reception area, cafeteria, kitchenette, and storage rooms
- Clean and mop men & ladies locker room washroom
- Clean meeting rooms before and after meetings
- Monitor, clean and service office washrooms
- When applicable, place safety hazard signs in the building including - wet paint and wet floor warning signs
- Respond to any major spills or other cleaning crises
- Remove litter and rubbish from main common areas
- Complete minor repairs and building improvements as needed. Including painting, drywall repair, minor installation, ceiling tiles replacement, indoor / outdoor caulking, etc.
- Remove snow and salt around building entrances as needed
- Provide support to reception as needed
- Make notes for night cleaning improvements and do site walk with janitorial vendor once a month to identify future improvements
- Help order supplies required for Facilities Manager
- Other duties as assigned by Facilities Manager

**Competencies**:

- Ability to professionally communicate
- Must have valid drivers' license
- Must be able to life up to 50 lbs
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to complete repetitive tasks, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
