Development Manager, Concessions

**About the Role**:
The **Development Manager, Concessions **reports directly to the Associate Director, Concessions or Managing Director, Concessions. As part of the Graham Capital team the Development Manager will be responsible for contributing to securing and delivering profitable, low risk work in partnership with Graham’s Infrastructure, Water and Buildings divisions under a variety of Public Private Partnership delivery models.

**As a Development Manager, Concessions at Graham you will**:

- Be responsible for identifying a pipeline of potential projects in target industry sectors (Water, Wastewater, Utilities) and prioritize projects for pursuit.
- Represent Graham in various forums including client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
- Demonstrate an understanding of legal contract terminology, structure and terms & conditions.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the financial models related to future and ongoing P3 project work.
- Lead in the development of bid teams and contribute to the creation and review process of contracts and teaming agreements.
- Develop pursuit strategies and coordinate the preparation of competitive and innovative proposals for client partners.
- Analyze risk and ensure that project risks are manage effectively and proactively.
- Provide input and direction on design, construction, schedule during bid development.
- Lead early project development activities post-award and liaise with both internal and external personnel to drive technical, legal and financial work streams.
- Provide regular and ongoing support through project execution and long-term operations ensuring established plans and financial targets are met.
- Administer various contracts and project agreements from conception through close-out.
- Complete both internal and external reporting, analysis and presentations.

**Qualifications/experience**:

- A degree in business or engineering is required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant construction industry experience in a project delivery role.
- Experience with full-lifecycle project delivery, including pre-pursuit, bid, execution and closeout.
- A deep understanding of our markets including Water, Transit, or Buildings sectors.
- A general knowledge or project management, contract law, finance, estimating, design and pre-construction is an asset.
- Excellent commercial acumen with a strong client focus and leadership potential.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including technical writing and presenting.
