**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate dump trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to various job sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of materials transported.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival at job sites.
- Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to maintain vehicle performance.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
- Experience with freight handling and loading/unloading procedures.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
