Qualifications:

- Culinary certificate or equivalent work experience
- Food safety certification; follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude and willingness to continuously learn and grow
- Ability to be on your feet for entire shift, and to regularly lift/move 10-25 kgs
- Ability to learn quickly, work quickly and efficiently
- Keen ability to follow direction and training, however, can work independently and take initiative when warranted
- Ability to communicate in the English language
- While cooking experience in an Asian cuisine is an asset, we are looking for people with the right attitude and ability to learn and perform

About Tang’s China House:
Tang’s China House was first established in 1970 as a small diner-type restaurant that seated approx. 30 people. In 1974, it expanded to a 140 person, fully licensed establishment, and has now served Chinese-Canadian food to the Sarnia community for over 53 years. We have refreshed our dining space and have enjoyed welcoming back our wonderful long-time clientele, as well as an expanded clientele, and offering a top-notch food experience.

- 42-hour work week; Tuesday to Sunday; 6-8 hour shifts between the hours of 11am-11pm

**NOTE: Students will not be eligible for this position due to the need for flexible schedules.**
