We are currently recruiting for a **House Person** to work at the **Anndore House. **The House Person is responsible for supporting the Housekeeping team by keeping the main areas of the building looking sharp, delivering items to guest rooms, and helping to keep Housekeeping inventory organized. **House Person’s Key Responsibilities**:

- Cleaning designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, and removing and disposing of trash.
- Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair.
- Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, deep cleaning, flipping mattresses, etc.) as required.
- Greet each guest with a warm and courteous smile, ensuring a welcoming interaction.
- Deliver guest requests and assist with cleaning rooms, as needed.
- Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
- Follow through on daily tasks and key responsibilities, driving a culture of teamwork and fun
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.

**Qualifications for the Role**:

- Previous experience working in cleaning is an asset, but not a requirement.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry and place objects weighing less than or equal to 40 lbs without assistance, and in excess of 40 lbs with assistance.
- Ability to push and pull a loaded cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
- Strong verbal communication skills, and a positive attitude. Strong command of the English language.
- Proven customer service skills and resolving customer concerns.
- Exceptionally organized and proficient multi-tasker.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays, as a minimum. Availability to work other varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekends, and holidays is an asset.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
