Opportunity We are currently looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic person to join our team as a Customer Service Representative on a 18-month contract The Customer Service Representative is responsible for communicating effectively with our customers, taking orders and following up on them. This person will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with our sales team to achieve the highest level of customer service. This position initiates collaboration between shipping, receiving, accounting and the procurement/logistics department. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and solution-oriented position. We are looking for someone with a positive and professional attitude who will provide dedicated and impeccable customer service. **Some of the responsibilities include**: - Take orders and process them in our computer system - Ensure the validation of information on purchase orders - Ensure that customer requests are handled satisfactorily and in accordance with company guidelines - Assist customers with orders, suggest products, different lots, etc. - Track all orders and ensure they are at the appropriate status - Work closely with sales representatives to connect to customer issues - Read and understand all customer activities for the strategic accounts in Salesforce - Manage account maintenance - Review various weekly / monthly reports - Regular communication with logistics and procurement functions to ensure customer’s requirements and operational requirements are met - Work in synergy with other departments to ensure full customer focus - Internal sales support for assigned accounts What are the requirements and skills needed? - Post-secondary or college diploma in administration, business or related field (preferred) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Must have strong work ethic and a passion to succeed - 2-3 years of relevant experience as Customer Service Representative in a distribution, logistic or manufacturing environment - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Compassion, integrity and honesty are important character traits that they are looking for - Desires to work in an environment where decisions must be made quickly and under pressure - Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills - Very strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Dayforce, etc.) **The advantages of choosing this position at Quadra**: - Private, family-owned company with a solid infrastructure - Essential services company - State of the art environment - Flexibility & work from home policy - Personalized training - Competitive salary - Benefits available for our contractual employees - Personal Wellness Program offered to employees - Fun, innovating and challenging environment (Great Place to Work and Best Managed Companies certification) - Helping each other and having fun are part of our core values - Quadra promotes diversity and inclusion - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Potential opportunities for career advancement and development; a growing company - Company sponsored social events - Employee recognition program (years of service, merit awards, etc.)
