Fitness Facility Management

Provide overall management and operation services of on-site Corporate Fitness Facility including:

- Plan and manage daily activities and administration
- Keep an equipment maintenance log
- Ensure that all equipment is handled in a responsible manner at all times
- Ensure regular updates of incident reports and ensure that copies are sent to the client appointed representative
- Inspect all equipment regularly to ensure it is in safe, workable condition. Provide reports on all required maintenance
- Ensure the facility and amenities are clean and safe. Work with Cleaning Service provider to ensure that facility cleanliness meets client Health and Safety standards
- Create educational material to inform users on how to properly clean fitness equipment
- Creat an initial health assessment with a follow up customized plan to help the users establish positive lifestyle changes for overall health.
- Body Composition Analysis - Height, Weight, Body Mass Index, Percentage of Body Fat, Metabolic Rate, Blood Pressure, Waist Circumference Measurement
- Basic Fitness & Posture Assessment
- Education and guidance surrounding nutrition and fitness levels.
- Follow up consultations throughout the year based on agreement with the user
- Teach 1-2 group fitness classes per day
- Ensure all members complete questionnaire and waiver(s) before using the gym
- Participate in monthly or quarterly meetings of the client Executive Committee to review day-to-day operations, report on class registration, attendance, present upcoming group class schedules, and any other special items requiring attention

Provide cutting-edge group exercise and fitness instruction, education and personal training:

- Develop and manage a well-run and purposeful health and fitness training program that includes at a minimum strength and conditioning, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. This will include leading a minimum of group exercise classes per week. Must also able to assess and develop program based on individual profiles for seniors with different ranges of goals and objectives.

Provide timely and accurate membership services including:

- Coordinate four (4) class registration periods per year
- Process membership forms and cancellation requests
- Provide professional and courteous guest services (knowledgeable and helpful):

- Interact and communicate with Fitness Facility members in a way that will support all aspects of health and fitness

Coordinate marketing and promotional initiatives in conjunction with the client and the Fitness Facility’s Executive Management:

- Publish four (4) newsletters per year that would include Fitness Facility news, fitness trends, volunteers’ bios, etc.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
