Veterinary Receptionist

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your organizational skills and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients and their owners.

**Duties**
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Process client payments and manage billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including laboratory coordination for tests and results.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' health care needs and follow-up appointments.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for animal welfare.
- Proficiency in computer systems and veterinary software is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including all Saturdays

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
