**What you'll be doing**
The Automation Inside Sales Development role will be a proactive function within the Automation Group and will be responsible for proactively driving sales, market initiatives, responding to customer inquiries, proactive customer contacts, quotation follow up and may also include a list of accounts to focus on growth opportunities for Automation Products and Services. You will also be involved with the below duties:
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate team members for further development and closure
Identify and pursue target accounts
Support Automation vendor programs - Example Sales Blitz
Support WIG - Wildly Important Goal programs
Aligning Solutions offerings to key customer Industries
Research accounts, identify key stakeholders and generate interest
Support and execute on strategic growth initiatives
Understanding customers' needs and identifying new sales opportunities
Open quote follow ups
Assist in the development of Marketing material/content
Outbound calling to promote targeted campaigns, and promote events
Follow up of house or new accounts
Maintain and expand a database of prospects
Assist with responding to RFQ/RFP’s as required
Support other sales initiatives, and execute sales activities as defined by Automation Sales Manager
**Self - Development**
Maintain advanced knowledge of the latest Sales and Marketing strategies
Participate in Technical and Business Training.
Self-pace ongoing product and services offering training
Rockwell Automation University self-serve training
Gerrie Electric Sales Training
**What you bring to the table**
Minimum graduate of a 2-year sales/marketing program
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required
**Learning / Competency plans**
CISP - Certified Inside Sales Professional
Gerrie / Rockwell Automation / Other product training as required
Develop understanding of Gerrie and Rockwell service offerings
Monthly in-house Solution selling - Consultant
Webinar and Product update sessions (RA others)
Rockwell Automation University (RAU) online training
Other training courses, seminars as required
Sales skills development
