Forest City National Golf Club is a private course located in London Ontario. We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic and experienced Manager to round out our spectacular team. This friendly and outgoing individual will oversee many aspects of our operations including our restaurant, fine dining events, and celebrations in the banquet hall.

As the Restaurant and Events Manager at Forest City National Golf Club, you'll oversee the seamless coordination and execution of our special events, weddings, member celebrations, and golf tournaments. From initial planning to post-event debriefs, you'll ensure an exceptional client experience and uphold the highest standards of service.

**Key Responsibilities to include but not limited to**:
**Restaurant and Banquet Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant and banquet hall, ensuring exceptional service.
- Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment and providing ongoing coaching and development.
- Assist with event planning and execution, scheduling staff as needed.
- Cover shifts and rushes on the floor as needed.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control, negotiating pricing with suppliers.
- Build strong relationships with members and guests, ensuring a fantastic experience for all.

**Client Management**:

- Assist the Wedding Coordinator and Special Events Manager to plan and execute weddings, private events, Christmas parties, and golf tournaments.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, providing support and guidance throughout the planning process.
- Develop comprehensive event plans and timelines, ensuring all details are communicated effectively.
- Coordinate with internal staff and external vendors to deliver seamless events.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring prompt communication and exceptional service.
- Be present during wedding ceremony rehearsals and ceremonies, swiftly resolving any concerns to ensure flawless execution.

**Event Execution**:

- Oversee event execution, maintaining continuous communication with operational departments and clients.
- Coordinate food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Prioritize client satisfaction and safety, promptly addressing any concerns.
- Preserve high-quality service standards through rigorous enforcement of organizational policies.
- Swiftly resolve any client or vendor concerns to ensure flawless execution.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in wedding event management and hospitality.
- Previous restaurant, bar and serving experience.
- Golf knowledge is an asset but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
