**Who We Are**

Reflex Manufacturing Ltd. is a major supplier/manufacturer of Reusable Flexible Insulation Systems in western Canada’s industrial insulation and Oil and Gas markets. A significant part of our manufacturing process involves sewing together various materials to form the jacket, liner and assembly components of our insulation covers.

Reflex is looking for a dynamic individual to fulfill a **Sewing Machine Operator - Industrial **vacancy in our manufacturing facility.

**Job Duties**
- Obtain cover patterns and sew according to job specifications and manufacturing instructions
- Sign job sheets
- Attach correct cords and flaps
- Select the appropriate threads
- Addition of drain grommets as per instructions
- Comply with all aspects of Reflex's Health and Safety Program at all times
- Contribute to the effectiveness of Reflex's Quality Management program
- Willing to work in other departments as need arise (assisting in prepping, closing and packing)
- Clean and maintain your sewing machine and work area

**Skills**
- Experience with operating sewing machines. Industrial sewing experience over a year is an asset
- Attention to detail and ability to see details up to close
- Hand-eye coordination and willing to learn new sewing machines (i.e. double needle)
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain a clean work area
- Ability to speak and read/write in English to be able to communicate with the team

**Working Condition**
- Exposure to hazards associated with the industry/trade
- Use of required personal protective equipment
- Operation and use of necessary tools, machinery, or equipment
- A mix of repetitive tasks, including sitting, sewing, and standing along with lifting, moving, and manipulating objects up to 18 kilograms / 40 pounds
- Shop hours are from 6 am to 3 pm. Monday to Friday with the possibility of overtime
