**Position Overview**

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Logistics team in the execution of freight activities, vendor payments and inventory management for Ash Grove operations in Canada and US Great Lakes.

**Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)**
- Responsible for vendor processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, service entries and invoice processing
- Verifies invoice amount and other pertinent information to eliminate errors before payment
- Work with logistics, terminal operations, billing department and vendors to resolve vendor invoice issues and discrepancies
- Support inventory reconciliation process with consolidation of information across the terminal network
- Support outbound railcar processes including billing, releases and custom documentations
- Generate, maintain and report on cost and performance metrics on logistic functions
- Seek continuously to identify and improve on process efficiencies
- Support any other studies, projects, or assignments as required

**Qualifications**

**Education/Experience**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Diploma in Business Accounting, Business Administration or related area an asset
- 2 or more years of experience

**Knowledge/Skill Requirements**
- Knowledge of SAP and BW is a plus
- Proficient computer skills including Excel, Power Point, Word
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized and time conscientious
- Initiative to improve business practices
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.

**Physical Requirements**

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Able to lift small objects frequently, weighing no more than 20 lbs.
- This position is sedentary in nature but may require periods of standing and walking

**Work Environment**
- This position is office based and is therefore indoors and climate controlled
