**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled Assembler/Builder to join our team. As a Builder, you will be responsible for preparing raw material into parts for the door assembly, assembling, and machining the doors. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using hand and power tools. If you have a strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

**Duties**:

- Read and interpret schematics, and technical drawings
- Measure and mark materials for cutting or shaping
- Tests and calibrates parts to meet tolerances and product specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fabricate and assemble components
- Assemble doors and operate hot press.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all components meet specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery or equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Qualifications:

- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills & Knowledge of door components
- Required to stand for long periods of time
- May involve some repetitive motions - bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task
- Read and understand bill of materials
- Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities
- Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid having any disruptions in production

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- wood product manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
