**DIVISION **:Eddyfi Robotics, Nanaimo (British Columbia)

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

A Project Manager is responsible for stewarding robotic systems projects. The Project Manager works with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality projects on time, on budget and within scope. Projects types range from client deliverables, engineering development projects, manufacturing product changes, to focused client demonstrations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Initiation, planning, execution and monitoring of project schedules and progress from project inception to completion.
- Managing internal and external stakeholders through relevant communication and documentation including project plans, status and milestone reports.
- Proactively manage risks, and provide or assist with corrective actions, develop contingency plans.
- Manage and utilize resources across multiple projects and teams.
- Monitor costs and suggest areas for improvements and cost reductions where practical.
- Conduct project design reviews - balancing technical discipline concerns and constraints with project requirements.
- Manage top-level Bills of Materials ensuring technical issues and conflicts are resolved.
- Support process improvement through project analysis, lessons learned, good and bad.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Project Management credentials or training and experience in project management methods (Agile, Waterfall, Lean, Six Sigma,)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations, project management, supply chain and relevant experience.
- Experience in project life cycle (5 Phases) Planning, Executing, Monitoring, Controlling, and Closing.
- Experience in project management software, Lean Methodologies and ERP systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
- Ability to interact and guide project stakeholders through to successful completion of the project

Managing software projects would be an additional asset.

- Develop and maintain an agreed to project plan with all stakeholders.
- Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques.
- Leadership and executive communication skills.
- A strong working knowledge of budgeting, cost and resource allocation.
- Passion for technologies that are delivered as customer solutions.
- An understanding of product development processes.
