**Required Qualifications and Experience**:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Use of Force Certification
- Experience in Tactical Communication
- Experience in customer service settings
- Previous employment as a Security Guard (Not required, preferred)
- Valid Smart Serve Certification (Not required, preferred)

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conducting internal/external security foot patrols of the site.
- Reporting all incidents to the Mobile supervisor on shift.
- Controlling access and egress for the facility/area.
- Present a proper, professional, customer-friendly image at all times.
- Conducting enhanced searches through the use of a Garett Wand, as well as routine searches of bags for event patrons.
- Providing general information about the site and assisting our clients with any security needs they may have.

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- No weekends
- On call
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Security Guard: 1 year (required)
- Tactical Communication: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario Security Guard License (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)
- Use of Force Certification (required)
- Smart Serve Certification (preferred)
- Ontario Health and Safety Certification (preferred)
- WHMIS Certification (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
