**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock and replenish bar supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Support food preparation tasks as required, including meal preparation and cooking when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to the bar area.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred, particularly in restaurant or hotel settings.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures is essential.
- Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in kitchen experience or meal preparation is a plus.
- Must demonstrate excellent cleaning habits and a commitment to maintaining a tidy workspace.
