As a **Commercial Mortgage Analyst**, you will work closely with our team to deliver top-tier financial analysis, underwriting fundamentals, market insights and originations support, in wide array of debt structures across various asset classes. You will play a key role in assisting with the originations team to facilitate financing solutions for real estate investors across Canada.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with our mortgage Originators to analyze commercial mortgage investments.
- Verify, analyze and interpret data such as financial models, property financials, financial operating statements, market analyses, engineering reports, and other information as required.
- Utilize third-party software for current data and insight collection, information from industry partners, and regularly share updates with the origination group.
- Manage and organize of all projects related documentation, information, and folders.
- Identify opportunities for improving and documenting new workflows and procedures, ensuring maximum efficiency and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with Originators and Administrative staff to monitor and lead files from inception to completion. Including but not limited to, completing mortgage presentations, fulfill pre-funding conditions, and adhere to lender instructions, ensuring all funding requirements are met within strict deadlines.
- Maintain proactive communication with lenders and borrowers to facilitate smooth transactions and approvals.
- Undertake additional responsibilities aligned with the role's purpose and accountabilities, including working with Administrative Staff, preparing reports, supporting compliance-related tasks, and completing assigned departmental projects.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (CFA, CPA, AACI, MBA preferred).
- **Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Advanced level user of Microsoft Office Suite, with strong expertise in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
- Exceptional skills in financial analysis, research, and commercial underwriting.
- Strong attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Extensive experience with the real estate and/or financial industry.
- **Mindset**: Team-oriented, analytical thinker with a passion for real estate and finance. Desire and drive to be an integral part of a growing commercial mortgage firm, with the ability to contribute to its future growth.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
