Event Producer Toronto

This is a remote role that can be located in Canada

**About the Role**: The EnsembleIQ Event Producer will annually lead specific event execution for 12 to 15 events across North America. Tactical execution will revolve around assisting Event Operations Director in developing key parts of each event’s timeline/production schedule, owning the on-time and on-budget execution of the assigned parts of the timeline/production schedule, developing costings for the assigned timeline/production schedule elements, sourcing internal resources or external suppliers for these elements and ensuring adherence to budgets and on time delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Event Production**:Lead all show production related elements for in-person events**
- Point of contact for creation of event specs.
- Works closely with the Event Director to coordinate logistics, provide timelines, costing and any show related information.
- Scheduling onsite load-in and load-out for all parties including sponsors/ exhibitor activations.
- Responsible for proactively identifying resources requirements with VP, Event Production.
- Lead on speaker management from pre-event through to execution.
- In partnership with the Event Operations Director, create all production runs of shows (for rehearsals and day of).
- Ensure all scripts have been received and verified against the run of the show.
- Liaise and engage with sponsors on activation and onsite requirements.
- Liaise with sponsors directly to ensure their requirements are being met and they have received proper training on tech platforms, where applicable.
- Create and send sponsor documentation as related to each event (Sponsor Hub, FAQ, support, communications) - not including show production.

**Speaker & Presenter Management**:Act as the main contact for speaker management**
- Once introduced by the content director, engage directly with all speakers to schedule all event related elements (recordings, rehearsal, arrivals etc.)
- In partnership with Event Operations Director, collect all presenter AV and technical requirements
- Collect and distribute all presenter slides and event related materials (bios, headshots, waivers, etc.)
- Create and manage all speaker communications, information and FAQ related to the show

**Virtual Tech Platform**:For all virtual or hybrid events, where applicable, they own the tech platforms for each event**
- Build all elements of virtual event (webinars outside of GlobalMeet, booth development, chat function, 1:1 rooms) and ensure technologies work seamless together when required
- Act as they key point of contact for each platform for respective event
- Test speaker equipment and connectivity, provide backgrounds and ensures all technical elements running smoothly in advance

**Live Show Production**:In typical live production event**
- Handle any issues as and when they arise and oversee problem until resolution
- Schedule appropriate parties for staging and technical rehearsals
- Work with Event Operations Director to coordinate logistics (i.e. stage furniture rentals, green room requirements, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with appropriate parties to ensure objectives being met

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:Be a central source of event expertise across organization on show production**
- Work with internal stakeholders to properly understand their objectives to develop show experiences
- Works with external stakeholders and vendors to understand and develop mutually beneficial event best practices documentation and timelines
- 4+ years of in-person event experience, including trade show experience
- 1+ years of virtual event experience
- Conference, Awards and experience with events of any of the CPG, Retail, Drug/Pharmaceutical, Convenience, Restaurant, Hotel, Grocery industries a plus.
- Highly collaborative problem solver demonstrating positivity and a “can do” attitude.
