**Your opportunity at ARC’TERYX**:

- As the Financial Analyst FP&A - Retail, you will deliver reporting and analysis to support key decision making across Arc’teryx. You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain systems used in the financial planning process and will assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and strategic business plans with regards to our retail business.

**Meet your future team**:

- The Financial Planning & Analysis team at Arc’teryx is responsible for providing leadership with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis and KPI tracking, FP&A advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement.

**If you were the Financial Analyst FP&A - Retail now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing**:

- Owning the financial forecasts and budgets for North America Sales Management, including the identification/quantification of risks and opportunities through review and analysis of key operational metrics and inputs
- Assisting with the preparation of the financial forecasts and budgets for North America Retail (Sales, Opex and Capex)
- Preparing month end P&L reporting and variance analysis for North America Retail and Sales Management
- Providing support to North America Retail Regional Managers and Store Managers to help them understand and interpret monthly retail P&L’s and forecasts
- Providing North America Retail with weekly sales reporting, providing insightful and relevant commentary on retail performance vs targets
- Calculating monthly and quarterly Retail incentive payments, working in conjunction with P&C and Retail Excellence
- Owning the monthly and annual sales reporting to landlords in line with lease requirements
- Supporting with the planning of Retail daily sales planning in coordination with the Retail Excellence team
- Tracking of Capex spend for new Retail stores, working closely with the New Store Opening team
- Ensuring data quality for month, quarter, and year end close of books in SAP and Oracle, working in collaboration with the financial controlling team to identify and resolve issues when they arise
- Responsible for the loading and reconciling of forecasts and budgets into planning systems
- Supporting the development of financial reporting and key indicators of retail
- Providing financial expertise and guidance to business leaders as needed
- Preparing ad hoc financial information as required

**Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future**:

- Collaborating with Retail Excellence team and Regional Managers on developments to Retail Opex planning
- Involvement in long term strategic business plans for North America Retail
- Become the primary business partner to the Sales Management team
- Involvement in ongoing developments to improve daily sales planning accuracy
- Supporting the evolution of sales reporting to the business

**Are you our next Financial Analyst FP&A - Retail?**:

- You have 3+ years proven experience in an Accounting, Financial Analyst, or an equivalent role
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or an equivalent field. A professional accounting designation or progress toward accounting designation is preferred
- You have exceptional attention to detail
- You have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for MS Excel and data analysis tools. Experience with SAP FICO, Oracle, and Power BI is an asset
- You are highly proficient in accounting systems and business intelligence (BI) tools
- You can prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate with individuals across departments, organizations, and countries
- You can coordinate and lead projects to completion
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You can balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
