We’re on the hunt for a **Inventory Control Analyst** on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

**Role**:
The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's inventory levels. He/she is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, analyzing inventory data and providing strategic recommendations to improve operational efficiency and minimize inventory-related costs.

**Responsibilities**

1) Inventory Management:

- Monitor and maintain accuracy of inventory levels.
- Coordinate inventory valuation activities, cost analysis, inventory movement analysis and the process of taking inventory and inventory adjustments.
- Coordinate inventory management activities to ensure compliance with U.S., Canadian and EU export control regulations, laws and sanctions, as well as compliance with the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
- Analyze inventory trends and generate detailed reports on inventory performance.
- Use analytical tools to forecast future inventory needs and optimize stock levels.
- Develop and/or maintain various ad hoc or regular reports related to inventory management or other related activities.

- Suggest and participate in the implementation of initiatives to improve the efficiency of inventory management processes.

**Required Skills**:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.

- Ability to analyze complex data and draw relevant conclusions.
- Proficiency in inventory management and data analysis software (e.g. Excel, ERP).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with different teams.
- Rigor and accuracy in tracking inventory data.
