Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the deli department, ensuring efficient and high-quality service
- Manage and supervise a team of deli staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies to ensure adequate stock
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, including sandwiches, charcuterie boards, and entertaining platters
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including equipment and workstations,

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a grocery store
- Knowledge of food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team to achieve department goals
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work one evening a week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $41,000.00-$51,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
