**About Todotoronto**

Todotoronto is one of the largest things-to-do-focused media channels in Toronto. We are looking to looking for a self-motivated social media marketing coordinator to help us manage and continue to grow our brand.

This position is a **hybrid, full-time position**.

**Responsibilities**

**Social Media Responsibilities (80%)**
- Staying current on industry trends for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content.
- Manage day-to-day social media marketing for Todotoronto across Tiktok and Instagram platforms
- Manage and coordinate a posting schedule via a social media calendar
- Generating, researching, and pitching ideas for posts.
- Use Canva and Capcut to create curate unique content.
- Speaking with clients about post-campaign analytics.

**Website Responsibilities (10%)**
- Key responsibility will be to discover and create long-form blog content around current events and things to do around Toronto
- Writing, editing, publishing, and promoting web/blog content.
- Maximizing site traffic by utilizing Search Engine Optimization best practices
- Monitoring responses to posts via the website, social media, or other platforms to better understand the audience.

**Newsletter Responsibilities (10%)**
- Research, draft, and edit engaging newsletter content aligned with brand voice and objectives.
- Curate relevant articles, events, or promotions to increase reader engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and content teams to align newsletter themes with campaigns.

**Qualifications**
- Must be enrolled in or graduated from a Bachelor degree from a Canadian University
- Experience with Tiktok and blog writing
- Strong communication, multitasking and writing skills
- Energetic, positive, willing to learn with a 'can do' attitude
- Proficiency with computers, especially content management software, social media platforms, Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets), and SEO keywords, a basic understanding of HTML.
- Ability to sit and type for extended periods.
- MUST BE BASED OUT OF TORONTO/GTA. You will be reporting and making posts on news and local businesses.

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
