We are looking for talented, highly motivated individuals with exceptional experience who embody our culture and values as a creative, collaborative and hard-working organization. **Position Summary**: We are looking for a Client Service Associate, New Accounts Administrator with polished interpersonal skills to join our growing Client Services Team. Do you have a strong client service mindset and continually seek to find creative solutions in order to address the exacting needs of high-net worth clients and financial advisors? Do you have a strong administrative background and in-depth knowledge of the administrative requirements of the financial industry, including different account types and their purpose? Have you facilitated the opening of new client accounts and transferring in assets from a delivering institution? As a Client Service Associate, New Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our high-net-worth clients. In this role, you will work in collaboration with our Advisors to manage the onboarding process for new client families as well as existing clients looking to open new accounts. You are a member of a collaborative and client-focused team requiring exceptional communication and problem-solving skills in order to provide a high level of administrative service to our clients. Using your in-depth industry knowledge and relationship management skills you are consistently able to deliver excellent service to our advisors and clients. This role will operate on a hybrid working model in Kelowna, BC. **As a Client Service Associate, New Accounts Administrator, your main responsibilities will include**: - Collaborate with the Advisory Team to provide expertise and deliver a high level of personalized client service. - Prepare new account and transfer documentation for various account types and scenarios. - Work directly with clients to complete and sign necessary documentation to open new accounts and transfer in assets. - Liaise with our custodian to open accounts and transfer in assets in a timely manner; proactively escalating where necessary to ensure strict adherence to SLAs. - Reconcile in cash and in-kind transfers, validating that all assets have successfully transferred in. - Consistent and accurate entry of client information into our CRM database - Provide back up support to other team members as necessary. - Actively engage in ongoing learning and development to continuously improve skills and knowledge. **As a Client Service Associate, New Accounts Administrator, your experience and qualifications will include**: - A minimum of 3 to 5 years of client facing experience within the financial services industry, with exposure to both front and back office - An undergraduate degree or a related financial services designation is an asset - Ability to process transactions across multiple systems - Tech savvy - ability to learn new and multiple, complex information systems - Experience with improving and documenting processes an asset - Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel and Word and experience with a CRM database - Superior customer service and relationship management skills - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) - Good judgement, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to define problems, research and provide "outside of the box" recommendations when approached with novel or unique client requests with limited information. - A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and think critically to seek out information and find solutions independently. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment utilizing strong time management skills - Experience working independently, as well as, in partnership with other team members
