**Visit Validation Supervisor - Care Access Team - Ontario**
As the Supervisor, Validation you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient execution of daily validation and late visit monitoring activities within our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the validation team's performance, communicating daily expectations and assignments, and actively managing the team to achieve desired outcomes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the National Manager to assist in the hiring process by participating in interviews and providing valuable insights. Your role will also involve coaching and mentoring validation coordinators to support their professional growth and development. You will establish tactical partnerships with Care Managers & Supervisors across their respective areas of responsibility to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery. Moreover, you will take ownership of performance management, including the development and implementation of Personal Performance Development (PPD) plans for coordinators.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Lead, train, and mentor the validation team to ensure comprehension of key metrics and duties.
- Provide coaching, troubleshooting, and strategic problem-solving with coordination and customer service teams to enhance stakeholder experience.
- Support, monitor, and document team performance, highlighting connections to organizational objectives.
- Evaluate stakeholder interactions with the validation & late visit monitoring team, resolving or escalating issues as needed.
- Conduct audits to ensure validation team meets metric targets, implementing action plans for improvement if necessary.
- Manage leave/sick/vacation coverage for team members.
- Ensure accurate documentation of data and communications in various systems through auditing and verification.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by monitoring and reporting health and safety concerns and ensuring compliance.
- Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders, addressing client issues promptly and notifying relevant team members.
**KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Post-Secondary education in Business Administration, Medical Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Supervisory role
- Computer skills - proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ability to use and utilize scheduling systems
- Ability to handle stressful situations proactively in a respectful, courteous and professional manner
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with a focus on team building and fostering a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, managers, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Knowledge of performance management techniques and experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
