**Lab Technician**
- **rotational shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.**_

Reporting to the Quality Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Work safely following good laboratory practices
- Adherence to and enforcement of Organigrams GPP/GMP standards;
- Work to establish a comprehensive sample intake and results reporting program
- Developing and delivering training to staff regarding chemistry and microbiology testing;
- Assist with creation of SOPs and Work Instructions related to testing activities, etc.
- Maintain laboratory supplies inventory
- Assist QA Manager with KPI management and reporting
- Lead or assist with other initiatives when required.
- Perform Chemistry potency testing via HPLC
- Perform sample collection and preparation for analysis, as well as shipment of samples to external labs
- Perform Micro testing through swabbing, ATP etc. Conduct environmental monitoring through air sampling, surface swabbing, etc.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in QA, a Micro or Chemistry lab
- Preferably with at least 2 years experience with HPLC.
- Previous leadership experience would be considered an asset.
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
- Quick learner, attention to detail and self-directed skills is required
- Adaptability paired with strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency allow the applicant to quickly change priorities, organizing to complete tasks efficiently
