**A little bit about the role**:
**Essential Functions**:

- Onboarding and Offboarding
- Payroll and benefits administration and coordination
- Headcount & Org chart reporting
- Coordinating and performing all HR administrative tasks
- Responding to internal and external inquiries and requests
- Maintaining HR records in both paper and databases
- Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation
- Supporting the global HR team
- Supporting the Joint Health & Safety Committee

**What you can expect**:

- Assist with day-to-day operations of core administrative and clerical HR functions and duties
- Conduct new hire orientation and complete administrative tasks for onboarding
- Conduct exit interviews and complete administrative tasks for offboarding
- Compile and update employee records and HR data in various systems as well as hard copy
- Process and prepare documentation and reports relating to personnel
- Prepare monthly headcount reports & organizational chart
- Manage employee requests regarding human resources issues, policies, and processes
- Support payroll preparation by providing relevant data (new hires and terminations, leaves, internal employee changes, and benefits administration)
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and shared service partners including Finance, IT, and Training
- Liaise with external stakeholders, vendors, and services as needed
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and other related duties as required

**Must-have Skills**:

- 2 years’ experience working within the Human Resources field
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential
- Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Service-oriented and capable of communicating with employees at all levels
- High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism; must be able to handle all confidential information with discretion and sensitivity
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Post-secondary education in the area of Human Resources or Business Administration
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in juggling various tasks
- Willingness to work outside of regular business hours when needed
