**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by assisting them with daily activities and personal care.

**Duties**
As a Health Care Aide, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients to promote their well-being.
- Helping clients with mobility and physical exercises, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Monitoring and documenting changes in clients' health status and reporting any concerns to nursing staff or family members.
- Supporting individuals with dementia care by engaging them in meaningful activities and ensuring their safety.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by following hygiene protocols and safety guidelines.
- Collaborating with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in home care, senior care, or caregiving roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with assisted living environments or nursing homes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices for working with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- A compassionate demeanor and the ability to work empathetically with diverse populations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
